The Town lies within the centre of the rich irrigated, diversifi ed farmland belt, high in heat units and frost free days, with transportation links to major markets. It is served by two (2) primary highways, the crossroads of Crowsnest Hwy. #3 and Hwy. #36 as well as the main Medicine Hat - Lethbridge C.P.R. (Canadian Pacifi c Railway) line.
