The Town of Taber is “A Great Place to Grow” and is located in the Municipal District of Taber, in Central Southern Alberta. The Town lies within the centre of the rich irrigated, diversified farmland belt, high in heat units and frost free days, with transportation links to major markets.

It is served by two (2) primary highways, the crossroads of Crowsnest Hwy. #3 and Hwy. #36 as well as the main Medicine Hat - Lethbridge C.P.R. (Canadian Pacific Railway) line.

Hays

Hays is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada, located between the Bow River and the Oldman River, at the South Saskatchewan River forks.

It was founded by David Hayes. Currently the town has a population of under 100 people living in the actual hamlet. The hamlet has a successful school that now has 78 students attending it from grades 1-9. When students are in Grade 10 they get bussed to the nearby town of Vauxhall which is only 15 minutes away. Most students are bussed from the many farms just outside of Hays. Hays contains a small campground, a coffee shop, general store that is also a post office, volunteer fire department, public library, hockey arena, hall, school ,and a pumphouse. Hays in the last few years has celebrated its 50th anniversary.
